Oh, come on. Who doesn’t know what they are? I mean, seriously. [shrugs] Either way, I’d always had a thing for Jap. Stuff. My father+brother’s constant watching of animax just broadened my horizens, I guess. A/M = Absolute lovish. (unless one is talking about SLAM DUNK, in which I’d promptly fall at said person’s feet, twitching and foaming at the mouth) Still, it’s a rather hard love to get rid of, and if you ask me, I’d say that it would be scientifically classified under general terms as an OBSESSION.
My expectations of A/Ms are high; seeing as my first fews consist of Naruto + Bleach + Death Note. I’m not exactly particular about graphic qualities (so I claim), but, recently, I’ve been tilting towards that direction. (I can’t be sure >______<) Plotlines that are able to stimulate + keep my interest is a definite must for me. (What’s the point of taking the time to trail after mangas/animes that only get duller + duller?)
And, yes. I only obsess over male a/m characters. (SRSLY, I don’t see why I should go crazy over females; [waves madly] LOOK, I’M ONE TOO) Rarely do I ever include/like reading about girl canons in my ships/in paired fics. I have no idea whether it’s a manga/anime thing, but somehow, all the females are bitches. =__________= Thus comes in my OCs. I know most LJ commitees/users support canon pairings, but I really can’t stand i.e. Sakura, Hinamori/ WHATEVER FEMALE YOU SUPPORT. (...with few exeptions, of course.)
Digressing, this is how I came to love yaoi. As most females do. I’ve been deemed psychologically unwell by many *normal* girls my age, but I still firmly to my belief - that yaoi is perfectly fine. YURI, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS NOT. Then again, these *normal* girls are wild over pairings like: SakuraxSasuke // HitsugayaxHinamori, so I beg to differ.
